US CITIZEN

US passport holders can enjoy visa-free entry into the UAE for stays up to 30 days:

VISA FREE ENTRY

  • Duration: Stays up to 30 days with the option to extend for an additional 30 days.

  • Requirements:

    • US passport valid for at least 6 months.

    • Confirmed return or onward flight.

INDIAN CITIZEN

VISA ON ARRIVAL

  • Eligibility: Indian citizens with a valid US visa or UK / EU residence permit can obtain a visa on arrival for a stay of up to 14 days.

  • Cost Approx. 240 AED ($66).

  • Extension: The visa can be extended once for an additional 14 days.

TOURIST VISA

  • Validity: This can be used for 30 or 90 days, depending on the visa type.

  • Process: You can apply through Emirates Airlines or approved travel agents.

  • Cost: 30 days visa from AED 350 ($95).

DOCUMENTS REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Passport with at least 6 months' validity.

  • Passport-size photo.

  • Confirmed return ticket.

  • Proof of Accommodation (Hotel Booking).

Currency: The local currency exchange rate in UAE  = Dirham (AED). 1 USD ≈ 3.65 AED.

Communication & SIM Cards

Free SIM Cards: Available at the airport for basic data. You can also buy larger data plans from Etisalat or DU at any major mall.

 

Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi is available in malls, hotels, and most public spaces like parks.

VAT Refund

If you’ve made purchases and wish to claim a VAT refund, use the VAT refund machines located at Dubai International Airport (DXB). Ensure you have your receipts and passport ready for processing.
